Rongai Route

Rongai Route Kilimanjaro

QUIET · SCENIC · GENTLE ASCENT

Rongai Route Kilimanjaro

The Rongai Route is perfect for trekkers seeking a quieter, more remote adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro. As the only route approaching from the northern side, it offers solitude, dry conditions, and a gradual ascent, making it an excellent choice for those wanting a less crowded yet highly rewarding climb.

At Kilimanjaro Climbing Club, we recommend the Rongai Route for its gentle slope, unique wildlife, and beautiful mountain views — ensuring a comfortable and successful journey to the summit.
