Meet the Founder and CEO – Dickson Lyimo
With over 20 years of experience as a Kilimanjaro guide, Dickson Lyimo has turned his passion for adventure into Kilimanjaro Climbing Club a premier tour operator based in Arusha, Tanzania. Born and raised in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, Dickson Lyimo developed a deep connection to Africa’s highest peak from an early age.
After guiding climbers to the summit more than 300 times, he saw an opportunity to create a company that would redefine adventure travel, with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and exceptional service.

I’m Vladimira, though most people call me Vivi. Originally from Eastern Europe and a traveler at heart, I fell in love with Tanzania when I first climbed Kilimanjaro. Since then, I’ve made it my mission together with Dickson to help
others experience this journey in a personal and unforgettable way.
I work hand-in-hand with Dickson and our trusted local team. We share the same values of safety, authenticity, and care. Together we ensure your adventure runs smoothly from start to finish.
